My research is inspired by the Canadian parliament politician Hansard debate based on the theme of National Security. The debate serves as a significant example in my research demonstrating how legislation is approve, from which I critically analyze its positives and weakness through authoritative figures. My objective is to display the public demonstration in contrast with the Hansard debate to illuminate an open dialogue.
Through the form of a newspaper, my purpose is to design high contrast visuals and typography that is straightforward and produces an accessible environment within which to explore the themes brought forward by Bill C-51 and C-44. The simple visuals are to make the message clear and powerful, and sometimes humorous, allowing for ease of visualization of how much our interactions are regimented within political social spaces.
