This vignette incorporates a clear box as a visual representation of the government’s transparency in gaining our personal information and contains a book on how to secure information. With this piece, I would like to ask the audience what they think about the solutions proposed? Are they realistic? Do any of them seem unrealistic? What about the approach of encasing the book in a plastic case to protect the information inside?

Here I am deliberately contrasting realistic and familiar securities solution like passwords and encryption with ridiculous security solutions like wrapping your letter in duct tape or having a security guard watch over your laptop. But what is ridiculous and what is realistic when it is about our freedom and privacy? I’m using Satire here to make a point.
